British Values Statement
Aims:
This document sets out how Broadbottom CE (VC) Primary School develops and promotes British Values throughout the school and within the community.
“We want every school to promote the basic British Values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, and mutual respect and tolerance for those of different faiths and beliefs”. Lord Nash (DFE)
Our Christian Vision is to ensure children become valuable and fully rounded members of society who treat others with respect and leave school fully prepared for life in modern Britain. As a church school, pupils are taught to have good moral compass with models of exceptional behaviour which point to God and exemplify beacons of light.
